Royal 160mx Paper Shredder

I have several paper shredders for my Houston insurance and mortgage business. Each is a different model and so far I like the Royal 160 MX the best.

This shredder is rated for a maximum of 16 pages at one time. My other Royal shredder is a 12 sheet model and the 160MX is significantly more powerful and quieter.

This shredder is a crosscut model. That means it cuts strips and then further cuts the strip into small pieces. This increases security and helps make the waste more compact. For any use where security is important crosscut or diamond cut is superior to strip cut.

The Spanish Bakery Of St. Augustine - Review

Note: menu offerings and prices may vary.

Fresh baked bread in loaves or rounds and homemade empenadas baked in a stone hearth oven, spicy sausage wrapped in a flaky crust… need I say more?

The Spanish Bakery has been in business for more nearly 30 years, according to the little chalkboard that hangs from the stone building known as the Salcedo Kitchen. I think I’ve been coming here for at least 10 of those years, and I’ve never been disappointed, except when they run out of bread around 2 pm or when it rains, because they only have 2 picnic tables under cover. Of course, you can sit at one of the picnic tables under a tree and stay relatively dry if it’s not a downpour.

Restaurant Review - Fogo De Chao, Or Holy Meat On A Stick

A normal night out with a few friends all of a sudden turned into a celebration. I don’t know what we were celebrating, other than the fact it was Thursday and this particular group of friends hadn’t seen much of each other over the summer. So rather than join the rest of Minnesota at the fairgrounds, since this was the end of August, we all met up at a ginormous restaurant on Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis for a different kind of “food on a stick” experience. This joint seats over 200 people and was very crowded so I guess we weren’t the only ones looking for alternatives to Sloppy Joe on a stick. Fogo de Chao, (Portuguese for campfire) serves all of their meals on a stick. Well they’re actually more like a cross between a long sword and barbecue skewer. This Brazilian chain opened in late April and has been winner with locals and tourists alike, but most likely tourists I suspect. Our local fascination with food on a stick really doesn’t go much beyond Labor Day.

Salt Water Cowboys Of St. Augustine - Review

Note: menu offerings and prices may vary.

If any restaurant truly epitomizes the intentions of St. Augustine seafood, Salt Water Cowboy’s is it. This is a restaurant that even if you know how to get to it, you are likely to have to search for it, even when following the signs! (Thank God for the sign that tells you that you’ve missed the turn.) Fortunately, the food is worth the drive and effort.

The specialty of the house is high quality, local seafood dishes “served in a turn-of-the-century fish camp setting.” They also feature open-pit barbecue items, claiming them to be the “best this side of the Suwannee and, for that matter, the other side, too!”

The Yum Yum Tree Of Jacksonville, Fl - Review

Note: menu offerings and prices may vary.

The Yum Yum Tree is synonymous with great chicken salad in Jacksonville. This is no ordinary chicken salad, and the folks that own the restaurant know it. Only white breast meat is used, and the combination of spices and seasonings that make up the rest of the salad are a mystery even to the most loyal of patrons. I’ve long since given up trying to recreate it, and console myself by visiting as often as possible when I get a chance to go to Jacksonville.
